Richard Lowell Sinnott, of Newburg, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the age of 85.

He was born in Randalia, Iowa, on December 10, 1927 to the late Lawrence and Luceal (Ball) Sinnott.

Mr. Sinnott retired from the U.S. Army earning the rank of Master Sergeant with 25 years of service and numerous decorations.

He will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes eight children, Rick Sinnott and wife Lisa, of Chugiak, AK, Randy Sinnott, of Eugene, OR, Gary Sinnott and wife Sandra, of Rolla, Terry Sinnott and Aubri Chick, of Rolla, Lu Pasley and husband Jim, of Winona, MO, Don Sinnott and wife Kathy, of Paradise, CA, Dianne Chand and husband Parveen, of Omaha, NE, and Lori Eyberg and husband Jay, of Rolla; one brother, Bill Sinnott and wife Kathleen, of Waterloo, IA; nineteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; AA friends and family; and other extended family members.

A graveside service with full military honors for Mr. Sinnott will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at the Fort Leonard Wood State Veteran’s Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 12th at the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
