Neal J. Schwarzhuber was born November 21, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late John and Susan (Vieau) Schwarzhuber, and entered into rest January 30, 2013 in Columbia, Missouri at the age of 84.
Neal worked as a carpenter and cabinet maker up until his retirement. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
When he was younger he enjoyed snow-mobiling, water skiing, fishing and hunting. He also taught his wife to hunt.
Survivors include his wife Nelda Jean Schwarzhuber of Rolla; son Rodney Schwarzhuber & wife Mardi of Wales, Wisconsin; daughter Lynn Benish & husband Jessie of Arizona; brothers Jerry Schwarzhuber & wife Arlene and Earl Schwarzhuber; sister Lois Louise Schwarzhuber; grandchildren Jennifer Lynn Benish and Ryan Matthew Benish along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 to 3 PM Sunday, February 3, 2013 at James & Gahr Mortuary in Rolla, Missouri. Funeral services will follow beginning at 3 PM at James & Gahr Mortuary in Rolla. Interment will be at North Lawn Cemetery in Salem, Missouri.
