Michael Gene Cunningham (Mike) 38 of Rolla, left this life in the early evening hours on January 15, 2013, in St. Louis.

He leaves in sorrow his parents: Alfred and Lois Cunningham of Edgar Springs; two children, Corey Edward and Christen Bernice both of Bourbon. Three brothers: Kenny (Kari) Cunningham of Licking, Joseph (JoeJoe) and James Cunningham both of Edgar Springs. Two nieces: Destiny Nicole and Jessica Jean-Marie Cunningham of Licking, one nephew: Adam Wayne Cunningham of Licking, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends: including his close confidant and special friend, Jane Mentola.

Mike was known for his love of junk cars. If you needed a part, he was your “go-to “guy. He knew everything there was to know about cars, and could spend an endless amount of time talking about his newest and latest project. Mike worked most of his life fixing up some old car. He spent 12 years or more at TomCo Metals as a faithful employee and friend.

He was a family man. Never married, Mike did have two children that he loved beyond life itself. Mike was the backbone of his family. Alongside Lois, Alfred and Kenny, they survived heartache and separations. They are truly what every family should be- loyal to each other and loving to everyone.

Visitation for Mike will be held at the Disciples Fellowship church in Licking, Mo. Saturday January 19 10 a.m.-noon. Mike will be cremated and then have a private burial beside his friend Tom Sherrill at the Sherrill Cemetery, Sherrill, Mo. Further information can be obtained from TomCo Metals (Rolla) or Fox Funeral Home in (Licking). May our friend RIP.
