David B. Connell, who has been in banking for 33 years, with 23 of those years serving with Phelps County Bank, has been promoted to president and CEO of PCB.
Connell has served as PCB’s chief operating officer since January 2010 and was appointed as a board member of the Phelps County Bank Board of Directors in 2003. He also serves as the chairman of the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) Administration Committee.
As president and CEO, Connell said he will continue to be dedicated to the community and is committed to providing the superior customer service that has always been associated with PCB.
He and his wife Candace have four children, one of whom is married — Jake and his wife Meredith live in Columbia; Michelle is a student at University of Nebraska, Lincoln; Jon is a student at University of Missouri-Columbia; and Rachel is a student attending Missouri University of Science and Technology.
