Richard Michael Clift, of Fulton, MO, formerly of Edgar Springs, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the age of 58.
He was born in Rolla on May 8, 1954, to the late Richard A. Clift and Betty Huskey Clift.
On Dec. 15, 2004 he married Colette Taylor, who survives.
Mike was baptized in the Baptist faith. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family, riding horses, and animals.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes his wife, Colette Clift, of the home; four children, April Clift, of Rolla, Joshua Purcell and wife Amber of Fulton, MO, Elizabeth Slavens, of Auxvasse, MO, and Bradley Slavens, of Calwood, MO; one brother, Ron Clift, of Edgar Springs, MO; one sister, Kelly Wells and husband Mike, also of Edgar Springs; five grandchildren, Nevada Clift Wilson, Daniel Sanford, Ezra Sanford, Kaedan Purcell, and Keegan Purcell; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
A funeral for Mike Clift will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Smith Cemetery in Edgar Springs. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
