Dylan Joseph-Scott Schulte of Rolla, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 26th, 2012, at the age of 15. Dylan was born on November 28th, 1997 in Kansas City, Missouri to Felecia Morgan and Henry “Carl” Schulte Jr.
Dylan was a freshman at the Rolla Jr. High School where he was involved in many activities. He was a member of Student Council and was also involved in the Student 2 Student program which helps new students get involved. Dylan was very enthusiastic about being in band and played trombone in the marching band.
Dylan was a member at Greentree Christian Church in Rolla. He was very active in the youth group and served in many different areas of the church. He was very passionate about his love for God. He followed the Lord with his entire life. Dylan loved his church, but most importantly loved God.
Dylan was always seen with a huge smile on his face, a child who was full of joy. He made sure to live every day to the fullest. He was the kind of person, who made everyone he was around want to be a better person.
He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to many. Dylan will be sadly missed by his surviving family which includes his mother Felecia Morgan and her family members: brother Brendon Schulte, two sisters Amber and Heidi Morgan, Grandmother Teresa O’Dell, and aunts Taylor and Tarin O’Dell. He is also survived by his father Henry “Carl” Schulte Jr. and his family members: grandparents Linda and Stan Spear, grandfather Henry C. Schulte Sr., and his step-mom Lindsey Smith along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and family members. Dylan will be missed by his church family, youth group, school friends and faculty members.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30pm on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013 at the Greentree Christian Church in Rolla. His Youth Minister, Ben Harris will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:30-4:30pm. Flowers may be sent to the church at 800 Greentree Road, Rolla, MO. Memorial contributions are suggested to help the family with expenses, and can be made through the church.
