Leo Duncan, of Rolla, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the age of 76.
He was born on January 28, 1936 in Vichy, MO to the late Ermil Newton Duncan and Ethel (Jurgensmeyer) Duncan. On June 22, 1957, he married Jo Ann Powderly in St. Louis, MO.
Leo loved to hunt and fish. He was a farmer and enjoyed fixing fence. Before retirement, he was employed by Foremost Dairy for 26 years and Hiland Dairy for 8 years. Leo very much loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Danny Duncan in 1994.
Leo will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: his wife, Jo Ann Duncan of Rolla; one son, Jim Duncan and wife Dana of Osage Beach, MO; one daughter, Teresa Dent of Rolla; three sisters, Wanda Hunter of St. James, MO, Leoda Lister and husband Robert of Rolla, and Leona Sieg and husband Donald of Vienna, MO; four grandchildren, Christie Duncan, Jason Duncan, Candice Dent and Travis Dent; and nine great grandchildren, Tyler, Kayden, Marri Ann, Hailee, Corrina, Chance, Harley, Bailey and Archer.
A funeral service for Leo Duncan will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Null and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 20 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association and American Heart Association.
