Nikki Len Stanley, age 17, of St. James, passed away early Saturday morning, December 15, 2012 due to injuries sustained in an auto accident.
She was born in St. Louis, MO on July 1, 1995 to Dennis Stanley and Jeanne Ann Jordan.
Nikki was a senior at the John F. Hodge High School in St. James where she excelled academically and was successfully participating in the A+ Scholarship program and planned on attending college next fall. She was also athletically gifted and played an important part on the school dance team and soccer team. Nikki possessed a mature, poised, confident, and outgoing personality who attracted many friends.
She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend who will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes her mother, Jeanne Ann Jordan and her fiancée Waylon Forester, of St. James; her father, Dennis Stanley and his wife Tabitha, of Rolla; seven sisters, Courtney Mahoney and husband Matt, of Joplin, MO, Ashley Stanley, of Rolla, Brittany Sharp, Emma Sharp, and Teddy Sharp, all of St. James, Grace Main, of Salem, MO, and Faith Main, of Rolla; three brothers, Denny Stanley and wife Kelsey, of Rolla, Coby Tilford and Kyler Tilford, both of St. James; grandparents, Mark and Debbie Howell, of Rolla, and Carolyn Stanley, of Joplin; great grandparents, Paul and Freda Carson, of Rolla; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
A funeral service for Nikki Stanley will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Kenner Cemetery near Dixon. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 18th at the funeral home.
