Lee Roy Bowman, of Rolla, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the age of 86.

He was born in Neelyville, MO on July 1, 1926 to the late Quiller and Anna (Berry) Bowman.

Mr. Bowman was an U.S. Army veteran having served during WWII in General Patton’s Army Infantry in France.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three wives, Nina Sue, Thelma Lucille, and Thelma Lois; a daughter, Carolyn Ventimiglia; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Lee will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes one daughter, Patsy Duncan, of St. James, MO; stepdaughter, Loretta Schott and husband Tim, of The Villages, FL; stepson, Bill Barton and wife Joan, of Peoria, AZ; one sister, Beulah Boll and husband Harold, of Ballwin, MO; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.

A funeral service for Lee Bowman will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment with full military honors will follow in the Rolla City Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12th at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Rosewood Residential Care.
