Alice Prewett, of Clinton, MO, formerly of Rolla, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the age of 90.
She was born in Stickney, MO on January 9, 1922 to the late Fred and Tina (Terwilligher) McMinn.
On April 12, 1941 she married Dolphus C. Prewett, who survives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucy Spencer, Virgie Maxwell, and Margie Davis.
Mrs. Prewett was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes her husband, Dolphus Prewett, of Clinton; three children, Roger Prewett and wife Lucille, of Clinton, Carolyn Blackwell and husband Charles, of Cuba, MO, and Andrew Prewett and friend Necia Hunt, of Lincoln, MO; two brothers, Robert McMinn, of Vichy, MO and Clinton McMinn, of Rolla; two sisters, Mary Blackwell, of Rolla, and Nina Barks, of CA; four grandchildren, Chris Blackwell, Dwayne Blackwell, Steven Prewett, and Kim Swope; six great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral service for Alice Prewett will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Null & Son Funeral Home. Pastor Dennis Light will officiate. Interment will follow in Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
