My parents came back from Scotland recently, and Ireland, and were nice enough to bring back some scotch.



Single malt, aged 12 years, etc. I hate it. I thought I’d like it finally like it, but I don’t. I’ve never liked scotch. I think the 40 percent plus kills any flavor in it. In fact, I think it smells like rubbing alcohol.



I know I may tick some people off by saying this, but this is my personal taste, and if you like scotch then great feel free to have my share of it in this world.



In the mean time I’m going to stick to beer which I love, and in my humble opinion tastes, and smells so much better than scotch.
