DonaFay Belle Culp, of Rolla, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the age of 76.
She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on February 24, 1936 to the late Howard J. and Ethel Berdine (Engen) Miller.
On April 20, 1957 she married Archie William Culp and they were later blessed with three sons. Mr. Culp preceded her in death on March 31, 2007.
Mrs. Culp was very active in her community and church. For several years she co- managed the Jack and Jill Nursery School and well as working at the Rolla Public Library where she was known as “The Story Lady.” She was an accomplished seamstress and a longtime member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church where she sang in the church choir and volunteered in many church functions.
She will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes her three sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Penny Culp, of Bloomington, IL, Brian and Marilyn Culp, of Tulsa, OK, and Eric and Shelley Culp, of Rolla; one brother, Howard L. Miller and wife Linda, of St. Joseph, MO; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; other extended family members and many dear friends.
A funeral service for DonaFay Culp will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rolla. Interment will follow in Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rolla. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9th at the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
