Karen Jean (Borgerding) Shore, of Lake of the Ozarks, formerly of Rolla, passed away November 1, 2012 at the age of 46.

She was born in Fairfax, VA, on February 16, 1966 to Larry and Patricia (Moran) Borgerding.

On April 11, 1987 she married Mark Shore and they were blessed with three children.

Karen attended Southeast Missouri State University. She worked at Michael’s Steak Chalet and Lake Valley Country Club in the Lake of the Ozarks area.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Joseph Shore.

Karen was a loving wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, and aunt and will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes her husband Mark Shore, of the home; three children, Joshua Shore, of Phoenix, AZ, Katie Shore, of Kansas City, MO, and Sandra Shore, of Alton, IL; parents, Larry and Pat Borgerding, of Rolla; seven brothers and one sister, Mike Borgerding and wife Theresa, of Winston-Salem, NC, Joe Borgerding and wife Dottie, of Blackstone, VA, Annette Hutton and husband Walt, of Lebanon, MO, Bruce Borgerding, of Rolla, Bryan Borgerding and wife Cindy, of St. Peters, MO, Tim Borgerding and wife Sharon, of Sugar Land, TX, Kevin Borgerding and wife Sally, of Steamboat Springs, CO, and John Borgerding and wife Lisa, of Gainesville, FL; numerous nieces and nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2012 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rolla. Interment will be in the Mount Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Lebanon, MO. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, November 4th at the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
