Joseph Paul Wulfers, of Rolla, passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at the age of 93.
He was born October 13, 1919 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Anton Wulfers and Opal (Toon) Wulfers. On April 10, 1961, he married Joan (Hignett) Wulfers who survives of the home.
Joe was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He served as a Tech Sgt. in WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Rolla.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Joe will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: his wife, Joan Wulfers of Rolla; two daughters, Clare Van Horn and husband Robert of Stafford, VA and Frances Seabaugh and husband Richard of Marble Hill, MO; three sisters, Dorothy Miller of Atlanta, GA, Marie Felter and husband Paul of Orlando, FL, and Bert Ann Bahr and husband Bill of Rolla; one brother, Leon Wulfers and wife Ruby of Crystal City, MO; five grandchildren, Amanda Van Horn, Stacey Tanner, Margaret Broshuis, Anthony Seabaugh, and Grace Seabaugh, three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A memorial mass will be conducted at a later date.
