Lloyd George Glenn was born to Jesse David Glenn and Ida Mae (Riley) Glenn on November 16, 1925 in Spring Creek Township near Vichy, Mo and entered into rest Thursday October 11, 2012 in Rolla, MO, at the age of 86.

He was united in marriage to Dorothy Brown on November 29, 1947 in Rolla, MO and to this union two children were born.

Lloyd was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict and for many years an active member of the Rolla Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars as well as a long –time volunteer for the LOVE organization.

After returning from Korea he served briefly as a police officer for the City of Rolla and worked for Foremost Dairy retiring as manager. He was then employed with Hiland Dairy as a sales representativeand retired at the age of seventy-one. His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing and raising cattle on his farm south of Rolla.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twin brother, Leonard Glenn; brother, Charles Glenn; sisters, Jessie Mae Morris and Louise Funke as well as son-in-law Edward (Joe) Baker.

Survivors include: his beloved wife Dorothy of the home; his daughter, Sharon Baker, of O’Fallon, MO; his son, David Glenn of Ashland, MO; grandsons, Jason Glenn; Brian Glenn and wife, Denise; granddaughter, Jennifer Bergmann and husband Paul; great-grandchildren Alex and Andrew Bergmann and Reagan, Brandon and Allison Glenn.

He is also survived by brothers, Clifford Glenn and wife Lucille, James Glenn and wife Shirley; sisters, Norma Gargus, Ida Marie Dowling, Polly Bacon and husband Jim, as well many nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Ozark Memorial Gardens, Rolla, Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be left at www.nullandsonfuneralhome.com.
