Pulaski County sheriff’s deputies have located and arrested a subject who allegedly assaulted a St. Robert police officer last week.
According to a press release from Pulaski County Sheriff J. B. King, after several days of searching for the subject, Thomas Ryan Gan, 21, of Waynesville, sheriff’s deputies received a tip from a citizen on Monday as to Gan’s location.
Gan was located and arrested without incident, the sheriff stated. Gan was taken to the Pulaski County Jail, where he will be held pending circuit court action.
According to an earlier press release from the sheriff’s office, a St. Robert police officer attempted to arrest Gan at the scene of a shoplifting incident at the Dollar General Store in St. Robert on Oct. 24. The subject assaulted the officer and fled the scene.
Gan faces possible charges for the assault on the St. Robert officer.
Additionally, Gan was wanted on eight active no bond Pulaski County Circuit Court warrants, which included three active felony warrants and five active misdemeanor warrants from Pulaski County.
