While the Maries County Sheriff's Office has identified the fifth and final suspect in a series of home burglaries in the Dixon area, the department needs help locating the subject.
The sheriff's office identified the subject as George Edward Puckett, 45, whose last known address was in Springfield.
Maries County Sheriff Chris Heitman said, "We have been unable to locate Puckett, and we are requesting the public's help with locating him."
It is believed that Puckett may be in the Springfield or Jefferson City areas.
Associate Circuit Judge Kerry Rowden, of the 25th Judicial Circuit in Maries County, issued a warrant for Puckett for burglary in the second degree with a $20,000 bond.
The sheriff's office is stated that if the anybody knows Puckett's location, they should contact their local law enforcement department or the Maries County Sheriff's Office at 573-422-3381.
A week ago, the Maries County Sheriff's office arrested four other individuals allegedly involved in the incident for burglary and property damage.
They were Kenneth D. Frazee, 35, of Rolla, Barbara A. Jenkins, 39, of Dixon, Brandon P. Veasman, 33, of St. Louis, and Curtis W. Winters, 33, of Dixon.
According to court records on Missouri case.net, only Frazee has been charged with burglary in the second degree.
Surveillance footage of the suspects was taken at a residence on Maries County Road 624 near Dixon that had been burglarized several times. Several thousands of dollars worth of property had been stolen from the residence and there was extensive property damage.
