The actors best known as brothers Darryl and Darryl from the sitcom "Newhart" will appear in the lighthearted "Deer Camp The Musical" at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
The performance, a Leach special event show, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Leach Theatre in Castleman Hall, located at 10th and Main streets in Rolla.
Tony Papenfuss and John Voldstad (the Darryls) and two others play lifelong buddies who spend their time drinking beer rather than hunting during their annual trek to Deer Camp. After their wives give them an ultimatum to get serious and bring home a deer, the quartet hatches a plan to save their hunting paradise without ever firing a shot.
Tickets for this special event are $25 for the public and $15 for youth and Missouri S&T students with student IDs.
Tickets are available online at http://leachtheatre.mst.edu or from the Leach Theatre box office, located in the vestibule inside the main entrance to Castleman Hall facing 10th Street. Box office hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Leach Theatre will offer discounted tickets through its Back Row Club one hour prior to the event, should tickets remain for the show. The seats in the last row of the theater will be sold for $10 each prior to the show.
This performance of "Deer Camp The Musical" is sponsored in part by the Public House Brewing Co. and Bonita Prock. Call 573-341-4219 for more information.
