  • Ozark Actors Theatre will present its fall musical, Little Women, Nov. 8-18, at the Cedar Street Playhouse.
    This adaptation of the beloved Louisa May Alcott novel will delight theatre-goers of all ages. The inspiring and irrepressible March sisters celebrate life and overcome adversity, never forgetting the importance of family.
    Ozark Actors Theatre has assembled a top-notch cast of local actors to present this beautiful and uplifting musical.
    Hannah Bagnall stars as the fiery Jo March, and other Rolla favorites Tess Hamacher, Megan Riefer, and Rebecca Light appear as her passionate sisters.
    Amanda Engelke portrays their faithful mother Marmee March, Susan Holmes their imperious Aunt March, and John Nisbett their neighbor and best friend Laurie. The full cast can be found on OAT's website.
    "The first scene of Little Women shows the sisters getting ready to celebrate Christmas. Families will find that attending this beautiful musical together will be a perfect way for them to get into the holiday spirit," said Producing Artistic Director Jason Cannon. "Uplifting songs, surprising laughs, and heart-wrenching drama — Little Women has it all."
    The show will be performed Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m.
