  • A woman visiting a patient at Phelps County Regional Medical Center has been arrested for possession of marijuana.
The Rolla Police Department arrested Lynn Doolittle, 21, Tuesday evening at the hospital after finding marijuana on her.
According to Rolla police, a nurse discovered the patient, who Doolittle and another male were visiting around 5:45 p.m., had a needle with a trace amount of an unknown substance and was attempting self-injection.
Rolla police sent the substance to a lab to determine what it is. Police say the substance in the needle may have been meth. Police believe Doolittle and the male visited the patient to provide the patient with drugs.
A Rolla police officer contacted a church pastor to get the parties involved help with drug addictions.
