Want to show off your dog and get a little exercise, too? Help raise funds to benefit needy animals and to provide spay/neuter assistance by attending the Phelps County Animal Welfare League's 11th annual Strut Your Mutt dog walk on Saturday, September 15, at the pavilion above Splash Zone in Rolla's Ber Juan Park.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m., with the dog walk at 10 a.m. The registration fee is $15 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog. A free t-shirt is included with registration while supplies last.
The event features a dog walk through Ber Juan Park. It will also include a silent auction, dog contests (best dressed, dog/owner look-alike, and more), demonstrations by local dog trainers Mike Kaelin of K-9 Academy and Jessi Queen of Canine Connections, and drawings for door prizes.
