Marjorie Louise Taylor, of Rolla, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at the age of 89.
She was born in Kirksville, MO, on July 9, 1923 to the late Alfred and Edith (Leavitt) Herron.
On January 26, 1946 she married Lewis J. Taylor and they were later blessed with three sons.
Mr. Taylor preceded her in death on May 17, 2001. In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Taylor was a longtime member of the Greentree Christian Church.
She will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes her sons, Donald Taylor and Alan Taylor, both of Rolla, and Raymond Taylor and his wife Georgia, of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Addie Mae Darnel, of Cleveland, TN; nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
A graveside service for Marjorie Taylor will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rolla. Pastor
Tim Cook will officiate. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service Saturday beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
