  • Rolla Fast-Pitch Softball League results from June 27

  • Mid-Mo Evolution, a team from the Waynesville/Houston area, swept a double-header from the Willow Springs Bears Wednesday in Rolla Fast-Pitch Softball League Under-18 Division action at Ber Juan Park.


    In the first game Mid-Mo Evolution topped the Lady Bears 10-1 and in the nightcap pulled out a 6-5 victory.

  • Mid-Mo Evolution, a team from the Waynesville/Houston area, swept a double-header from the Willow Springs Bears Wednesday in Rolla Fast-Pitch Softball League Under-18 Division action at Ber Juan Park.
    In the first game Mid-Mo Evolution topped the Lady Bears 10-1 and in the nightcap pulled out a 6-5 victory.
    In the first game Newburg’s Shelby Friend tripled and scored for Mid-Mo Evolution while Nykki Bryance had a double, single and scored two runs and Izzy Switzer had a hit and scored two runs. Courtney Dale scored the lone run and Beth Sherbo had the lone hit for the Lady Bears.
    In the second game Mid-Mo Evolution tallied two runs in the bottom of the first inning and four more in the third. Willow Springs got all five it its runs in the top of the third.
    Friend had two hits and plated two runs for the winners while Belle Knarr had a hit and scored twice and Taylor Franklin had a hit and scored a run. Sierra Alcorn had a hit and scored a run and Beth Sherbo and Haley Porter each singled for Willow Springs.
    In other games from Wednesday:
    Under-18 Division
    Crocker Lady Lions 5, Salem Tigers 0: Emily Wood, Lindsay Madlen and Delany Patton each had a single and scored a run as Crocker won. Savannah Hanning had a double and Sam Parker singled for Salem.
    Crocker Lady Lions 11, Salem Tigers 9: Bailey Bumar and Kyla Connell each scored two runs while Delany Patton doubled and scored as Crocker won. Katelyn Wells had a single and scored two runs and Rachel Shults and Savannah Hanning each scored twice for Salem.
    Under-14 Division
    Salem Tigers 15, Young Guns 2: The Salem Tigers fired a no-hitter, fanning 12 and walking three. Erica Rushing had two hits and scored three runs while Kaligh Nash had a homer, triple and double and Brock Shults had two hits and scored twice for the winners. Taylor Norris and Bekah Kirker each scored a run for Young Guns.
    Salem Tigers 9, Young Guns 8: Shelby Carr scored what proved to be the winning run in the third inning as Salem Tigers won. Chey Sercl doubled and scored twice, Nash singled and scored twice and Allie Fleener tripled and scored for the Tigers. Kirker had a double, single and scored twice while Norris scored two runs for Young Guns.
    Mid-Mo Evolution 7, Owensville 5: Darian Hunter scored twice while Allannah Morque tripled and scored and C.J. Parker doubled and scored as Mid-Mo Evolution won. Brook Limberg tripled and scored for Owensville.
    Mid-Mo Evolution 8, Owensville 0: Lizzy Swindel and Parker both tripled and scored as Mo-Mo Evolution won. Taylor Ruth singled for Owensville.
