As a 20-year-old NASA satellite prepares to return to Earth and scatter space debris over a wide area, space debris expert Dr. William Schonberg.

Schonberg is chair of civil, architectural and environmental engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology and is part of a National Research Council panel that studies the impact of space debris.
