The Children’s Trust Fund (CTF), Missouri’s foundation for child abuse prevention, hosted a recognition ceremony event at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12 at the Truman State Office Building, Room 492, 301 W. High Street, in Jefferson City.


The Children’s Trust Fund (CTF), Missouri’s foundation for child abuse prevention, hosted a recognition ceremony event at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12 at the Truman State Office Building, Room 492, 301 W. High Street, in Jefferson City.

These event highlighted CTF’s Fiscal Year 2012 grantees in the Central Missouri region.

The CTF Board of Directors recently approved and awarded over $1.6 million for Fiscal Year 2012 to 65 community-based organizations and agencies throughout Missouri for child abuse and neglect prevention activities.

Of that amount, $175,040 was allocated to the Central region. For additional information, please visit www.ctf4kids.org.

The Partnership for Children and the Office of Social and Economic Data Analysis (OSEDA), University of Missouri also provided attendees with training related to the Missouri Kids Count Data Project, which collects information about the overall welfare of Missouri’s children and is used as a tool to help improve communities.
