Rolla High School graduate Caleb Parry had a big game for the William Woods University men’s basketball team in a 82-81 loss to Missouri Baptist on Thursday.


Parry, a 6-6 sophomore forward, netted 14 points and grabbed 19 rebounds in the game. Parry missed nearly his entire freshman season with knee surgery.

Parry, a 6-6 sophomore forward, netted 14 points and grabbed 19 rebounds in the game. Parry missed nearly his entire freshman season with knee surgery.

After battling through a preseason knee injury Parry has played 15 games for William Woods this season, including eight starting assignments. He’s averaging 5.3 points per game and 4.3 rebounds.

Former Rolla High and Cuba High player Seth Thomas, a freshman guard, averages 4.6 points for William Woods while former Waynesville High School guard Kelsey Bardell, also a freshman, averages 3.7 points.

William Woods had a 7-20 record entering Saturday’s game against Columbia College.
