An unknown assailant caused damage with a BB-gun late Tuesday night, according to the Rolla Police Department.


An unknown assailant caused damage with a BB-gun late Tuesday night, according to the Rolla Police Department.
“We do not have any leads at this time,” said Lt. Jason Smith, of the RPD.
Damages were reported by residents Wednesday, with residential homes and businesses both being targeted.
•A large plate glass window at AutoZone, on West Missouri Route 72, was shot twice, causing $500 worth of damage.
•A vehicle at D&S Auto on West Missouri Route 72 had its windshield shot. The estimated cost of replacement is $250.
•Three windows at a duplex in the 400 block of East 18th St. were broken from what appeared to be a BB or pellet-gun.
•A call was taken where an individual was allegedly shot at with a BB-gun, but no report was filed.
•A vehicle in the 800 block of Laurel Drive had its window broken by a BB-gun.
“Whoever is doing this is having a great financial impact on people,” Smith said.
