The Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce (RRAC) will once again honor persons and businesses in the area who are have risen above to make our town better during its 89th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 10.


The Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce (RRAC) will once again honor persons and businesses in the area who are have risen above to make our town better during its 89th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 10.
“It will be a great opportunity to say thank you to our outgoing officers and welcome our new ones,” said Chamber Executive Director Stevie Kearse.
The banquet is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Matt’s Steakhouse.
“We’re really excited about where our current president, Pat Leaders, is taking the Chamber, and we’re excited about our new president Caroleen Ferrell,” Kearse said. “Pat has given us so much during her year, and we’re excited about what the future holds.”
Persons should make reservations no later than Monday,  Jan. 5, by calling the Chamber office at 364-3577.
Tickets for the banquet are $40 per person.
The evening will include presentations of the Edmund Ward Bishop Award, the Annual Achievement Award, Spirit of Rolla Award, and Ambassador of the Year Award, entertainment by Paper Slip Theatre (Improv) of St. Louis,  dinner and a silent basket auction.
