Bobbi Jo Newkirk, a loving mother of four beautiful children, a daughter, a sister, and our friend, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at the age of 32.


Bobbi Jo Newkirk, a loving mother of four beautiful children, a daughter, a sister, and our friend, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at the age of 32.
Bobbi Jo was born July 16, 1976, in Fort Belvoir, Va., to Robert Newkirk, Jr. and Pam (Baker) Jasensky.
She has been an active advocate for children and troubled teens.  She held a master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology and Criminology and was employed with the Missouri Alliance, an organization that works with children throughout Missouri.  She was the mother of four wonderful children, ages 11, 9 and a set of 3-year old twins.  Bobbi was raised and resided in Rolla, Mo.
Bobbi Jo was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Newkirk, Sr.; and two aunts, Lorraine Martin and Geraldene Maclean.
She will be sadly missed by her surviving family, which includes her children; Paige Newkirk, Alexis Newkirk, Morgan Marquardt and Jayda Marquardt of the home in Rolla; mother and stepfather, Pam Jasensky and Andy of Rolla, Mo.; father and stepmother, Robert Newkirk, Jr. and Rose of Bridgeton, Mo.; sisters, Amber Stienbarger and husband Steve of Rolla, Mo., and Ashley McCarter and husband Matt of Edgar Springs, Mo.; grandparents, Bob and Rosalee Baker, Dale and Dixie Peck, Ida Newkirk and special friend, Grandpa Don; stepbrothers, Skylar Jasensky and Chris Ruth; stepsister, Laura Atkins; nieces and nephews, Corey, Brant, Kaylie, Makenzie, Kylie and Wyatt.
Bobbi Jo’s family is extremely grateful for Uncle Mike’s generosity.  A special thanks to Aunt MoMo!
A funeral service for Bobbi Jo Newkirk will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at the Null and Son Funeral Home of Rolla.  Interment will follow in the Rolla City Cemetery.  A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at the funeral home.
