Othella Williamson passed away in Independence, Mo., on Sept. 27, 2008, while surrounded by family.
She was born March 22, 1918 in Dover, Ark.
Othella grew up in Arkansas, the second of twelve children of Edward Luther and Elsie Belle Young. She moved to Rolla, Mo., as a young adult, where she lived for over 50 years.
Othella never met a stranger and was active in the Presbyterian Church, loved to play bridge, and took great pleasure in spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Othella was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Williamson, who passed away in 1997.  She is survived by five brothers and sisters, four children, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren and will be dearly missed.
Funeral services for Othella Williamson will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at the Null & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Miles White officiating. Interment will follow in Ozark Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Phelps County Regional Medical Center Auxiliary.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
