Steven Craig Potter, of Rolla, formerly of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the age of 51

Steve was born on September 26, 1961 in Springfield, MO to the late S.C. Potter and Alma Lee (Langston) Potter. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Dana Potter.
Steve worked as a route driver for the area bread companies. He was a real outdoors man. He was a member of the Phelps County Fair Board. He loved golfing, fishing, motorcycling riding and traveling.
Most of all, he loved his kids. Steve will be sadly missed by his surviving family which includes: his son, Taylor Potter of Rolla; his daughter, Nicole Potter of Vandalia, MO; four sisters, Debbie Bills and husband, Kendall of Springfield, MO, Kim Jackson of Springfield, MO, Teresa Remington and husband Bruce of Ash Grove, MO and Ginger Neely and husband, Steven of Walnut Grove, MO; two half –brothers, Shane Potter and Andy Potter; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to his nurse, Tanya Neal.
A funeral service for Steven C. Potter will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
Rev. Doug Williams will officiate. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
